Dear Me,
Wow! You are such an ambitious young lady. You are a class officer, volleyball teammate, and a member of several clubs and organizations. Not only are you a servant for your school, but you are involved in ministry in your church. You are role model, a leader, and a communitarian. You are such a gift to the body of Christ. Keep your morals and beliefs, and do not let anyone persuade you to compromise them. Boys will come into your life, and some will break your heart. Remember, purity is still God’s way, and you are worth the wait.
I know you do not understand why your parents have set boundaries in your life, but try to understand they are trying to preserve your innocence and mold you into a woman that lives a life that is pleasing to the Lord. Embrace every part of yourself from your skin tone to your slim figure. Just because you are a few shades darker than other girls around you does not mean that you are any less beautiful or worthy. You are fearfully and wonderfully made, and the opinions of others do not matter. Focus on your goals and dreams and know that you can do all things through Christ who gives you strength. I pray that you leave a lasting impact on your community, state, nation, and world. Stay beautiful, stay phenomenal, and stay virtuous!
