Faith and Pageantry

December 9, 2017

I recently wrote my first book entitled Manifest the Crown: A Krystle Clear Guide to Pageantry Success and inside of the book I give a step by step guide that will enable women and girls to experience pageantry success. At the beginning of each chapter, I incorporated a scripture from the Bible that coincided with the title of that particular chapter. Why did I do this? First of all, I am a faith based author, and the Bible is my road map to success. Secondly, my faith is the real reason I have been able to become successful in this industry.

I know that may be hard to believe because we are taught to put into practice worldly endeavors in order to garner success. Some may wonder does a person’s faith truly have a place in pageantry? I believe it does, and I will tell you why.  Faith has empowered me go after my pageantry goals even whey they appeared to be unattainable. Faith has taught me to stay true to myself and my core values regardless of societal opinions. Faith has equipped me in such a beautiful way that I am able to effectively reign as a queen. Faith is powerful, and I want to share three things that faith can teach women and girls in pageantry.

Faith Empowers You To Love

Love teaches you to care for others. How can you be a true representation of a pageant system if you do not exhibit love? Remember, a hateful queen is an ineffective queen, and she can damage the reputation of any pageant system.

Faith Empowers You To Serve

Winning a pageant is much deeper than a piece of headgear and a sash. You are called to serve a purpose and effect change in the lives of others. Faith teaches you to be selfless.

Faith Empowers You to Walk in Integrity

A queen should always strive to be honest in every situation. Honest queens are trustworthy queens, and honesty adds value to character.
