Greetings my pageant family! Today, I celebrate my 31st birthday. This year’s birthday was like none other because this was the first year in a long time that I celebrated my birthday by myself. Yes, it was just me and God! At first I was a little apprehensive about spending the day alone, but I got over it! Honestly, I kicked off my celebration weekend on yesterday. Take a peak of what my birthday celebration schedule has looked like so far.
January 22
I got my hair done at Special Blend Hair Treatment Center.
I booked an appointment at Massage Envy and received a 60 minute Swedish massage and foot scrub.
I went shopping!
January 23
I had lunch at Texas Roadhouse.
I went shopping again! Woo hoo!
I napped and spent time with God.
Who knows what I may do tomorrow since I have one more day left in the weekend. Hopefully I can do a morning run before church because Lord knows my hectic schedule and this bipolar weather has thrown off my half-marathon training schedule. I need to be Disney Princess ready by February 21st!
Whether you spend your birthday with a group or by yourself, be grateful for every moment. Life is the greatest gift that has been bestowed upon us. Make it magical!
