Krystle’s 2015 Pageant Year End Review

December 31, 2015

Well 2015 is about to come to a close, and I must say it has been a journey. I  have had ups and downs like a Six Flags Over Georgia roller coaster. Fears, self-doubt, and disappointments tried to destroy my spirit, but the enemy will not take down this warrior. God still has his hands on me, and I cannot wait to see what 2016 holds for my pageant career and my life as a whole. I believe wonderful and exciting things await me, and they will unfold in a beautiful way. I know I have told some that 2015 would be my last year competing, but who knows?  Honestly, it is hard for this pageant girl to stay away from the stage.  Here are some of my pageant highlights from 2015.

  1. January 24-I completed a successful reign as the first ever Ms. Tri-State Elite 2014.
  2. January 25-I served as emcee for the 2015 Miss Toadlick Music Festival Pageant held in Ozark, Alabama.
  3. February 28-I had my first ever pageant coaching session with with Terri Bolen of Total Pageant Preparation in Jasper, Alabama.
  4. April 4-I served as guest speaker for Young Motivated Girls Induction Ceremony held in Roanoke, Alabama.
  5. April 12-I competed in the 2015 Miss Alabama United States Pageant, and finished as 1st runner up in the Ms. division. I also won the photogenic award for my division.
  6. April 28-I served as guest speaker for Connecting the Dots to Your Purpose Conference held in Prattville, Alabama.
  7. July 13-I launched my pageant blog.
  8. July 25-I served as Stage Coordinator for the Alabama Angels Pageant.
  9. August 9-I was selected to participate in the 4th Annual Cynthia Bailey Model Search, and I had the opportunity to meet Cynthia Bailey herself.
  10. Throughout the year-I served as a judge for five pageants.

Continue to Manifest Your Crown in 2016. Happy New Year!
