Happy New Year and Happy Black History Month! Yes, it has been a while since I made a post. That is not like me, but 2021 proved to be interesting year for Krystle Clear Pageantry. I will get back to posting regularly and providing valuable content to the pageantry community.
Since it is Black History Month, I want to take the time to honor and pay tribute to my black pageant professionals who are valuable to this industry. This week, I am highlighting pageant coaches.
Pageant coaches are instrumental to the pageantry industry because they prepare contestants for success on and off the stage. This year I decided to do a top 5 list of the black pageant coaches I have had the pleasure of meeting in person and/or virtually and who I know are stellar coaches that will continue to make a major impact in the lives of others.
5. Jessica C. Alexander, Crown Chasers Pageantry
Jessica C. Alexander has been in involved in the pageantry industry as a competitor, judge, coach, and director. She holds the titles of Miss Black Alabama USA 2014 and Miss Natural Hair and Health Expo Beauty 2019. She is the creator of Crown Chasers Pageantry which is the premiere pageant training platform that provides affordable and hands-on training that successfully prepares contestants for a successful and productive experience. 4. Kennedy Hill-Garcia, Spiritual Boss Chick
Known as The Reign Maker, Kennedy Garcia is a life long advocate of women & girls, devoted health & wellness ambassador and highly sought after interview & leadership coach who is transforming lives everyday while wearing a crown both figuratively and literally as Mrs. California USA. Her client roster include California International Pageants, USA Ambassador Pageants, and Empire USA Pageants.

3. Ocielia Sprowl, Slay Your Pageant
Affectionately known as the Confidence Catalyst, Ocielia Sprowl is a former Miss Black USA, author, life coach, and speaker. At the age of nineteen, she founded More Than a Pretty Face International, a life-enrichment company she initially founded as an outreach to girls in underserved communities. Slay Your Pageant is a division of her company where she focuses on branding, interview, and platform. She has produced winners and top 10 contestants in the Miss Black USA, Miss Black American Coed, Ms. Veteran America, and Miss Black International Ambassador systems just to name a few.

2. Amber Brown, Crown Captors Consulting
Amber Brown is a master educator, counselor, and mom dedicated to helping young girls and teens that are active in the pageant community. Known as the Mindset Coach, her company’s motto is “Envision Your Reign.” Some of her winners have competed in National American Miss, Royal International Miss, International United Miss, USA National Miss, and Princess of America pageant systems. She is creator of Coaches Corner Live: A Virtual Conference Exclusively for Pageant Moms. Amber was recently voted Top 10 Pageant Coaches in the United States by The Pageant Planet.
