Guess what? It is time for another product review! Yay! Yes, I know it has been awhile since I have done a product review, but I have been busy working on new content for you all that I cannot wait to share with you. Okay, enough of that. Let’s get to this product review.
A few months ago Reviews.com reached out to me and asked me to share information about their natural deodorants with my audience. At first, I was reluctant because I have an audience that is primarily women and girls interested in pageantry. My initial thought was why would pageant girls want to know about natural deodorants? Then it dawned on me. Krystle, pageant girls need natural options too! Let’s face it: Pageant weekend is a whirlwind. You are on the go go go! You are here, there, and everywhere. When you are on the go like that, you want to make sure you stay fresh. With that being said, it is important to use a product that can accomplish just that.
There are several deodorants on the market that help keep us so fresh and so clean, but not all deodorants are created equal. Some contains harsh chemicals such as aluminum that have been linked to Alzheimer’s disease and breast cancer. I personally have not tried any of these natural deodorants, but I will say I am aware of the benefits of using natural products. I am very interested in trying the Schmidt’s Natural Deodorant because I know quite a few people who use this brand, and they have great things to say about it.

I used the Bergamot/Lime product some months ago and have purchased my second use some time after that. I must say that the product lives up to its name. In the past, I have created my own natural deodorant. Worked well but just needed a little “tweeking”…LOL. When I came across this product at Wal-Mart, I was ready to try the natural. For years, I’ve used Secret, Suave, and other chemically-based deodorants that caused some irritation, swollen nodes…just didn’t feel and look good. I must say in using the Schmidt product, I am a total fan of it. At first, I had to get used to the “lime-y” scent on my clothing 🙂 The product smooths easily upon contact, just a tad bit grainy. It leaves my underarms fresh, breakout-free, and chemical free. I haven’t tried the other scents by Schmidt’s. Overall, I am well pleased.
